“Augusta Lilac”is a 13” Victorian faceless lady doll who is wearing an 1850 Ball Gown.
Augusta Lilac, Augusta Black, and Augusta Blue had been friends since they were babies and were so excited they could barely control themselves. You see, this was their year. Finally, they were debutantes and about to attend their debutante ball. They'd been dreaming of this for years and talking about the dress they wanted to wear.
The three best friends were very much alike in their taste in clothing and usually bought the same clothes - albeit in different colors. All three wanted a beautiful dress with long train. Well, maybe not so long that they couldn't dance, but long enough. They wanted lace and decorations and floral accents in their hair. And, most of all, as best friends they wanted their dresses to be alike, but not so alike that everyone would be able to guess. That was their private secret. But, different enough to reflect their own personalities.
Augusta Lilac was the quietest belle of the group and a little on the shy side. She didn't like too much attention drawn to herself so she avoided bright splashy colors. She much preferred a beautiful lilac pastel color so she decided to choose a two layered lilac and lace covered dress.
